  • I hold a permanent status as a State and Nationally Certified teacher of music through the National Music Teachers Association ( NMTA).
  • Awarded the Outstanding Private Music Educator in 2011 by the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and the Civic Music Association.
  • Awarded the $1,500 Oweida Keck Grant from the National Federation of Music in July of 2013 to further music history education for children via a summer music camp.
  • Accompanist for Young Americans, a dancing and singing group from Milwaukee, WI.
  • Named Outstanding Senior at Eisenhower High School in 1976.
  • Vocalist, pianist with the Carroll College Carroller’s, a worldwide touring group.
  • Vocalist/Pianist in a Christian band called the Potter’s Clay.
  • Member of a 16 piece group that traveled Europe through the Friendship of the Ambassadors.
  • Pianist for the Bob Hope Talent Search in 1977.
  • Vocalist and pianist with the band, “The Inn Crowd”.
  • Named Outstanding College Student by the Outstanding College Students of America Association in 1990.
  • Selected to appear in the 2000 Millennium Edition of Who’s Who of American Women.
  • Named the Outstanding Private Piano Teacher in Wisconsin, by her colleagues through the Wisconsin Music Teachers Association in 2001 and 2004.
  • Developed and coordinated LOVE P.A.T.S (Practice -a- thons) a local community service project provides the funds to purchase digital pianos for children living in hospitals. This organization raised over $10,000.00 the first year for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
